PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Decorative Paints & Protective Coatings
This section consists of three fully equipped production and packing lines along with an inline laboratory and a scaled down pilot with an annual production capacity of 14’000 MT.

• Pilot Production: Batch sizes of upto 200 Kg (mostly R&D)
• Production Line No. 1: Small batch sizes of 300 – 4500 Kg
• Production Line No. 2: Medium batch sizes of 2000 – 8000 Kg
• Production Line No. 3: Large batch sizes of 10000 – 20000 Kg

Alkyd Resins & Modified Polyesters
This section consists of two fully equipped production and packing lines along with an inline laboratory and a scaled down pilot with an annual production capacity of 14’000 MT.

• Pilot Production: Batch sizes of upto 150 Kg (mostly R&D)
• Production Line No. 1: Batch sizes of upto 12000 Kg
• Production Line No. 2: Batch sizes of upto 15000 Kg

Tin Can Production
This section consists of two fully equipped production lines with an annual production capacity of 15’000’000 cans.

R&D / QC Department
With experienced and well trained work force of 22 technicians the QC department is the most important part of the Ronass facilities and the key to its success since the start of production in 1974. The department consists of four subsections, along with four inline laboratories, which are all equipped with the latest test instruments. Prior to shipping every final product needs to be approved by the QC department and a QC certificate is issued for every item produced.

PRODUCT RANGE

The company resorts to pragmatic and far-seeing marketing policies, that takes into account all the relevant demographics, geographic and economic considerations, to produce and market a wide range of paints, protective coatings and modified alkyd resin that would appeal to all the strata of society and industry. This attribute together with its non-compromising stand on high quality has contributed to Ronass becoming the best paint manufacturing facility in Iran and was the winner of the annual ISIRI Standard Award for six consecutive years.
The production capacity for decorative paints and industrial finishes is 14,000 tons pre annum, producing a variety of paints including:

Alkyd resin manufacturing section was established in1994, and has been operating under the RonassPad brand since, with a capacity of roughly 14,000 tons per year. A well-equipped QC lab, and a scaled down pilot plant control the quality of the manufactured resin. The range of resin products include:

PRODUCTION SCHEME

In 2010, the largest share in Ronass production mix belong to protective coatings and industrial finishes @ 47%  by weight, followed by decorative paints with 28%, alkyd resins with 25%, and 2'100'000 tin cans in two different sizes (quarts and gallons). Using more aggressive marketing strategies and introduction of new and innovative products, the company hopes to increase its market share significantly within the next few years, dominating the domestic market for industrial and marine coatings.

Some of the recent achievements obtained by Ronass are listed below:

• Ronass has been chosen as the best paint manufacturing facility with the highest quality by the ISIRI (Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran) for six consecutive years.
• Ronass has been awarded a “Green Industry” certificated by the Iranian Environmental Agency in the year 2000.
• Ronass has been able to obtain quality certificates from Germanischer Lloyd, one of the most reputable surveying institutes in the world, for number of protective coating systems.
• After completing a management training program offered by IGS (Iran Group of Surveyors) and full restructuring, Ronass has been granted the ISO 9001-2000 certificated by two certifying bodies, the British Standard Institute in early 2005 and the Germanischer Lloyds in early 2007. The Certificate has been upgraded to ISO 9001-2008 in the current year.
• Our laboratory facilities have been recognized by ISIRI as a reference laboratory providing third party services to many industries all over the country. The facilities have also obtained ISO 17025 certification in the current year.
